According to industry sources on April 26, Osterloh recently posted a photo of himself with Roh on his social media platform.

“We had an in-depth conversation with TM (Roh Tae-moon),” Osterloh stated, “Our partnership is stronger than ever, and both companies are delighted with the AI cooperation and the many opportunities ahead.”

Samsung Electronics also announced Osterloh’s post, emphasizing that the collaboration with Google will continue, aiming to create the best Android ecosystem. “Exciting changes are coming in the AI-based Galaxy and Android experiences,” the company said.

Although the companies have not disclosed specific plans for collaboration, it appears they are focusing on enhancing version 2 of Google’s next-generation generative AI, “Gemini Nano,” which is expected to be integrated into the Galaxy smartphones launching next year.
